A shadow, a figure flickers, a watery flame carries itself through a series of scenes, an endless loop of dramatic and stormy landscapes with seemingly no end.
This installation of paintings explores my numerous adventures through the northern Australian landscape and imagining the earth looking back at me.
In these series of dark scenes the view point is not a human one. The eye and the viewpoint is that of the crocodile looking through its primal lenses at a fragile form luminously balanced on the edge of transcendence and dissolution.
